Written as a dedication to Lyn’s Mum and Husband for all their Musical support.

Musical influences: Corinne Bailey Rae, Morcheeba.

Different elements of the lyrics, reflect the dedications to each loved one.

E.g. ‘I count my lucky stars, that years go by and you’re still by my side.”
These lyrics relate to Lyn’s Mum’s constant support and also to Lyn’s Husband for his support also.

“I love you and I love the Sun.’ Was a nod to Lyn’s Mum as
Lyn’s Great-Grandfather came from an agricultural background and Lyn’s Mum is good at reading the skies where the weather is concerned.

Trivia: The opening hook was influenced by the entry to George Gershwin’s ‘Rhapsody in Blue.’

The birdsong at the end of the track was actually recorded by Lyn from her car parked up with the door open as she captured the sound of chattering European Goldfinches. Lyn is a passionate Nature lover.
